i'm pretty sure that's impossible since WAV audio (CD audio) is like 1411 kbps and you can't get "less compressed" than that

Compression shouldn't lead automatically to a loss in bit rate tho? Isn't that the beauty of flac? It's so high quality while maintaining ridiculously high bit rates (not to mention it being lossless)
