I've been TRYING to get into hip-hop (really like P.O.S.) and just haven't gotten around to checking out jazz (have tried out some Zappa and intend to try out Davis) Polka and Opera are cultural things and are not for everyone. I'm not saying that you MUST LOVE Elliott, I'm saying don't give up on genres after 2-3 listens.
