This review makes sputnik look pretty damn ugly. Urfaust create some of the best atmospheric BM I've ever heard.

I'm gonna listen to this soon. Their 3rd full length album was fucking great.

this is what happens when someone whose favorite albums are the metal equivalent of muzak decides to write about experimental bm with the authority of staff

New album is out. Still the band with the best vox in all extreme metal.

not as revolutionary as this album, but a solid effort that should not be missed.

I remember coming across this in my rym days and it had a good rep. The aggregate here reflects my opinion it seems.

It’s good to not see any reviews like this anymore...

This sits at a 2.8 currently, with the next lowest rated Urfaust entry at 3.4. This is really no different to any other Urfaust album aside from some full classical pieces that they didn't write. What's really the issue? This review really that influential? Was hoping Crysis would eventually come around to this. Oh well.

Not into the vocals on this one. Kudos for trying something unique with the weird ambient sounds and the 70's sounding vocals. Just didn't jill the best with me.

Band has called it quits

Listening to that 2023 record now, it is quite lovely so far! Never Urfausted before, something nicely poetic in hopping on when 'they are hopping off'...

Amazing band yeah.
