God, everything in Slit Your Guts is just so fast!

Now excuse me, I have to pick up my jaw. It's on the floor.

Worm's vocals in Crown of Thorns are really off-time. The drumming makes up for it tenfold though.

He's completely uncoordinated in that song. It's like he's trying to bark as deeply and forcefully as he can and ignoring the music behind him.

It happens. I had the same reaction when I heard Slit Your Guts.

The music is genius through the whole freakin' album, it's just the vocals that have a little slack everynow and then, like Crown of Horns.

Also, I love the little samples at the beginning and end of the album.

I could send you it via email or AIM. Cryptopsy doesn't deserve more money due to the crappy new albums.

I am not fully against the original style of growling, but Lord Worm can't growl at all, unless you consider burbing every word a growl.

well, i've heard open face surgery, the song was crappy but the scream at the end... it's the best scream ever heard. second is from Tool with The Grudge.

If Lord Worm is the definition of growling, then growling friggin' reaks. I much more prefer what In Flames and Hypocrisy do over Cryptopsy.

I find it funny that before Once Was Not, everyone thought that Lord Worm was a god. Now, people reckon even his None So Vile stuff is pretty crappy.

Lord Worm on the first two albums is awesome. That is all.

Explain yourself, br3ady.
Of which two albums do you speak, and why?

Those guys don't growl. Apparently you just hate growling all together.

Br3ad, I always thought he was good, but pretty damn bad on OWN. I hate the way he barks on Crown of Horns but other then that he kicked ass on their first two albums. Opinions fluctuate, I guess.

To Scruples: My guess would be Blasphemy Made Flesh and this one. And yes, he is a god on both albums. This Message Edited On 11.23.05
