I like how the lyrics to that get weirder as the song progresses, like a descent into madness.

Yeah sucks they didn't stick around (although understandable). At least both of their albums are quit long.

Album rules. Not sure I like it quite as much as 'Kite String' but I love that one, been thinking about 5ing it. This has room to grow.
Anyone notice how the spoken word passages sound like the ones on Neurosis' TSIB? And they came out the same year, odd. This is where someone enlightens me... or perhaps it's just a coincidence.

Such a great band, it’s a shame they didn’t realise more material.

Lyrics are the least noticeable thing about music to me unless they're super obvious & quotable in a sing-along sort of way (doesn't make them enjoyable, necessarily), or completely bizarre. Very rarely does it enhance my experience of an artist/album.
I think Acid Bath are an exception because I really like their deranged lyrics, which could be seen as slightly disconcerting.

I wish these guys made more music, so impressive how consistent this & Kite String are considering all the stylistic shifts. They nail pretty much everything.
