Dreadful cover; helps the ignorant think Ozzy = Sabbath. he did not write the riffs; he did not write the lyrics. Bad album too.

2.5!? How can you rate this lower than Born Again?

Album rules.

Sabbath took a nosedive after Vol.4!?!

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage!?!
Those are pretty good records.

Giving Volume 4 a 1.5 is just ridiculously stupid.
Complete failure to review!

This is the 2d best Sabbath album after Master of Reality, Paranoid No. 3 followed by Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Although I agree that Black Sabbath don't sound as cutting edge or strikingly insane as on earlier records (partly due to less heaviness and much more melody), 'Wheels of confusion...' and 'Under the sun...' serve as two of the best respective openers and closers to an album ever, in my opinion-they just set the bar so high, that even songs like 'Supernaut' and 'Snowblind' don't quite reach those highpoints. Nonetheless, i still prefer this to 'Mob rules' and 'Sabotage'...

The funny thing is you claim this album is bad by saying it sounds like Deep Purple...

Im not sure if you are trolling or just really not into metal, and if thats the case, dont review albums like this one.

I must disagree with the review, this album really rules. Wheels of Confusion, Snowblind, Under the Sun, Supernaut, Tomorrow's Dream... awesome songs...
