I've enjoyed a few "metal-esque" albums, like Protest the Hero, SikTh, and The Faceless. I'm not afraid of death metal vocals because I used to listen to a lot of deathcore.
I think I'm gonna check this out.

Hopefully they should be releasing another album later this year, this is a pretty tough album to follow up, but I'm looking forward to it.

True but wasn't as great as Symmetric. Retaliator was ace though. I think Alvestam gets too much smack as a vocalist, great singer in my opinion.

The drummer is killer, vocals are amazing, guitar work is cool.
Great crossover metalcore-death metal for me, but without being typical deathcore, plus there's obvious power metal elements.

Deathcore isn't even a genre so that is untrue. If it is, it's the worst style of music created and Miseration don't really fit the core tag. Pantera had breakdowns so I suppose everyones going to call them metalcore.

Hmm, tough choice, I love pretty much all the songs, but I suppose the two opening tracks are the ones that pretty much grab me every time, Perfection Destroyed in particular.
