Funny, clearly he's pretty public about it. Hard to blame him though I guess.
I imagine that, despite how popular they are in the right audiences, teaching is probably a more lucrative career overall. Plus these seem like the kind of guys who will only write music if they're really feeling it so being a band full time wouldn't work for them.
