People say there is nothing memorable on this album but I guarantee you this has more replay value then Skelethon. This album has been out for like 5 years and the songs that ARE good on NSP are just as good and sound just as fresh to this day. Wait until Skelethon has been out for 5 years and tell me how many of those tracks you still listen to...and if they still sound fresh.

I agree with your thoughts and rating, Aesop Rock is one of the top 10 rappers of all time.

I don't think this is as good as Skelethon and I have listened to that album a LOT. But it's damn good all the same

Five Fingers is without any shadow of doubt one of my favorites off this album. I really like None Shall Pass as a whole, though there's a piece to it that's missing. Hmm...

Damn this is pretty good. Never got into the guy's voice or lyrics as much, but the beats are really nice.

Dude it takes me a half dozen spins to get the drift of what an Aesop song is actually about usually, but like, fuck, his lyrics and storytelling are absolute heat.

Im still shook at how good Impossible Kid ended up being. As great as his back catalog is, imo that's his best work, and to see that so far into a career is pretty incredible.

He does no wrong in my book

And his tribute to MF Doom he released earlier this year was such a banger. Wonderful lyricist

Moving this down to a 4. Spun it the other day and was much lower on the stretch after catacomb kids and before 5 fingers.
