Well, if they consider themselves Anathema fans, they owe themselves to give this a chance.

I listened to the other two discs after this and found them quite forgettable, should I even try with this one? I don't like doom in general, instead of depressing me it generally bores me.

This "dooms" much, much more. It's definitely more monotonous due to that. I do prefer the other two, but I'm in the minority there.

If you don't enjoy doom, I doubt this is going to change anything.
