Cool. I'm going to have to write reviews for the other three Doom albums by Anathema just so the people here that are talking about checking them out understand that this is the only really good Doom album that Anathema did.

Finally got this, and listening now. So far I'd say a 4, but a 3.5 or 4.5 is viable, depending on further listening.

Darren White's vocals and an uneven album flow hold this one off from comparing to the superior albums that would follow such as The Silent Enigma and Eternity.

You serious? As the Flower Withers is the best of the three, easily. The Return of the Beautiful is better than any song on Serenades by far.
