the part where the violin plays the two note theme in bbf3 right before the huge buildup... nuts
|
| |
nope, I actually prefer both this and lift yr skinny fists to that one
|
| |
Slow Riot > Lift Yr. Skinny Fists > F#A# Infinity > Yanqui U.X.O.
Yanqui is still fucking phenomenal though
|
| |
I find f#a# has too much well, idk annoying bits. like the alien noises or whatever it is just get on my nerves whereas this is ALL awesome
|
| |
I suppose. I guess I'll have to give F#A# some more listens then, I mean I do love it but I don't think it's quite perfect like I feel about this record.

"idk fa is so awesome in it's buildups and the ambient parts how it paints a vivid picture in your
mind it also seems to be their darkest album if that makes any sense it's a really fascinating
listen. this is like just real good post-rock idk
"
Wanted to post something that was pretty much exactly this. Although I think this is 4.5 at least
(very good chance of being a 5 soon), and maybe better than F# because the music doesn't seem to
wander as much. But on the other hand I think F# might be better because even when it does wander
the mood it sets and the vivid picture it paints are RIDICULOUS. Doesn't matter in the long run
though, both are just unreal.
Also: If you like BBF3, this is a must watch- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJtdUgnmyF8
