I think the albums great! I love these guys, and the guitar is amazing. (ex guitarist from BTBAM).

He was only in BTBAM for...I think half a tour?
He never wrote or recorded with them. But he can shred. He actually is real cool with Nick Hipa from As I Lay Dying.

And for $3, that is a steal.
I got my copy free, due to one of my friends being real tight with Micah before they started touring all the time.

Enjoyed this a lot more than Son of the Morning. Son of the Morning will hopefully grow on me, but I liked this from first listen.

Pretty much agree with the review, some incredible moments and some pretty generic ones as well.

I think Son of the Morning is a little better (probably a 3.6 or 7, rather than a 3.5 which is this...) as it has better everything IMO, but this is still pretty good.

I think the only thing holding them back from making a classic is consistency, if on their next album they can nail a whole album (or at least 9 or 10 out of 11 tracks) that's killer, rather than the moments of filler both their albums have atm.

I absolutely love this album, and this band, but I don't understand why "...Dark Campaign" is so much weaker than all the other tracks.

I agree with the repetitive-ness of the songs but it doesn't phase me from liking this album a lot.

Good fucking question. I couldn't stand the vocals on SotM at first.

Anyway, this album rapes SotM. I remember reading in an interview somewhere, though, that their next is a lot more technical and all-around better.

This is their most passionate release by far. SOTM concentrated too much on sounding brutal.

Yep, listening to this now. This is the best thing this band will ever do... back when they were trying to be Botch.

If this had more variety than it'd be better than CoF. But a extremely good debut nonetheless
