Yeah, thanks so much for telling me about Sentinel, I would have never found it otherwise. It actually took me a while to find it, it's not easy to see and no one on the street had ever heard of it. Eventually saw the small sign though, so all is well.

Forgot about this. I really need to check this out. Yeah, for some time I couldn't finy any Irish bands other than Geasa but now it's looking good. Found this and another album for 10a piece off amazon so going to buy this soon.

Sweet. I've started reviewing their first album Dust, but it's going slow slow slow. You need to get this asap Balls, it will blow you away. I was and still am considering moving it up to a 5, but I still need more listens.

Haha, I've had this downloaded for a few weeks. I still have 27 albums to listen to. I guess this is one of them.

Sentinel is a bit out of the way alright, especially seeing as it's in the basement of the other 2 shops there, but it has an excellent selection. I must pay a visit there soon, seeing as my birthday is coming up

haha, that wouldn't be a good idea! I went there twice, and each time I bought 5 or 6 albums. There's so much to choose from.

Okay, we've got rasputin, ZooYoker6, Bs to the Ws, freudianslipknot, ShatterFuture, jwroa001...
I need to check this out.
And Puterfaction, who I don't know but has a crazy avatar, hi Puterfaction!
Irish Doom. Kinda has a ring to it...

Hope you like it, it immediately got me hooked when I first listened to it. Their previous album Dust is also decent, but not quite as good.

What about the one after this, A Murderous Circus? I complain about having too much to listen to, haven't even spun this yet, and I'm asking you for another recommendation...how perfectly me lol

The vocalist for this band....
Is the devil...
Or at least hades...
|

The one who does the harsh vocals also does the spoken word, and the guitarist does the clean singing.

These guys are good, I need more doom too, woot!

Well I went there anyway and picked up lots of stuff. If any of you are into crusty grind, you should check out the Irish band Scald, their latest album 'Fluke' is immense! And if you love death metal, I would definitely recommend Warpath's 'Gorefare'. Anyway, I'll stop plugging Irish metal now.

Hello to you too. You should check out the album that my avatar for the best grind known to man. A Murderous Circus is a great album too although 'Dust' is my favourite. The new Mourning Beloveth is due out this year too, I can't wait!

I'll see if I can find those Putrefaction, but I'm no longer in Ireland (back home in Australia) so it may be a struggle.

You could always try the Sentinel site if you're stuck. http://www.sentinelrecords.com/ I'm sure Brian can make a deal with you if you talk nicely!
|
| |

Just bear in mind that the catalogue is a lot bigger than it appears on the site, it hasn't been updated in a while

This is really really good. I'll be honest; The Words the Crawled blew me away, It Almost Looked Human was solid, but seemed proportionally not as inspired, and The Insolent Caul lost my attention, seemed boring and unnecessarily repetitive. But Narcissistic Funeral brought it back, My Sullen Sulcus disintegrated me, and Anger's Streaming Arrows scattered my ashed into the wind. Hovering between a 4 and a 4.5, need more listens (of course).
