"Yeah nobody actively called themselves a 'grunge' band. Only your Creeds and Bushs' do that sort of nonsense.
The real deal laughed and took the piss out of the sycophantic press desperate to latch on to a 'new punk'"
Exactly :]

I actually quite like Sixteen Stone, but I agree it's a bit try hard. The fact that Gavin pronounces asshole like an American and not a Brit about 30 secs into the opening track kinda tells you where it's going.

Dan is a dude who wasn't even born when razorblade suitcase came out but he still totally gets where this stuff comes from and sees through the bilge. He's a 90s angsty teen to his very bones God bless him.

Razorblade Suitcase is an atrocity aside from greedy fly
|

Razorblade Suitcase, Greedy Fly it's all indicative of the clueless, souless, corporate, processed by numbers rubbish that has become abundant everywhere now.
Ello sitar dude, I'm chipper pal :D

Nah Greedy Fly is pretty decent, and Swallowed is a hard jam. Again, it's trying too hard to copy Nirvana, (Razorblade Suitcase) only this time In Utero, even going so far as to hire Albini.
