Selling 3M albums does not make the album a good album, that's pretty obvious, but it means that real fans know about this album, and it makes the reviewers phrase "A surprising number of people who are fans of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam are unfamiliar with Temple of the Dog" rather laughable.

I'm damn close to be 5'ing this. Chris Cornell sings so incredible on it, and the musicianship is awesome. Not one bad song/filler!

Never got into Soundgarden but I'm a big PJ fan. TOTD tops all PJ albums except for No Code imo.
