Yeah this band is definitely one of the best bands from the Norwegian black metal scene. Some people don't like them though. Don't know why.

probably because they're focused almost entirely on ideology over the music itself. it's like a more concentrated form of the problem a lot of people have with black metal in general(which is dependent on philosophies and mindsets as much as, if not more than, musical traits). and the fact they had a couple of pretty shitty albums probably doesn't help

Incipit Satan isn't just shitty, it's dysenteric. Twilight of the Idols is pretty bad too. Destroyer isn't terrible, but it is painfully average
