Good review. I don't think I need to say anything about this album, especially on Sputnik. SubleDagger's post made me lulz:

"Uh most casual listeners are alright with post rock

A good example is I could be like driving some guy to work and I could put in Envy and he would be like "Oh hey this is pretty nice, that guy is yelling but okay"

Then i would put in CTTS and he would be like "Jesus christ what the hell"

Everybody who I've ever played CTTS for as pretty much the same reaction: "What the fuck? It's just noise? I need some advil..."

Ctts sucked balls when I saw them live. The new song they played when I saw them (the one from the Starland Ballroom show on their myspace) was pretty bad.

I dunno, when I saw them at the fest, they were tight as fuck. Lots of movement, pretty much dead on, and had a killer atmosphere with all of the lighting and what not. The song that they played at the Starland Ballroom show wasn't the one we heard.

I spoke to John recently about the album (he interviewed them at that fest in florida) and according to Drew and Kathy the new album is about half-written.

Well, let me set the story straight on that one. He didn't really interview them, but sorta asked Kathy when the album was coming out and she said "When we finish writing it" and which point he said "you guys aren't done? I mean, you were looking for a Piano player like 8 months ago". After that she just sorta muttered and went back to packing up her shit. It was pretty lulz.
