Now they're playing stadium metal, Ire was a disaster

Frostbite kicks so much ass. Most underrated PWD song.

There we go. Easy 4.5. I think I prefer KWAS over this tho. But goddamn these guys were on the verge of something epic with this sound. You can hear elements of that epicness on Deep Blue too but after that these guys nosedive hard.

I like this a tad bit more than KWAS, but KWAS has their best song imo, that being It's Hard To Speak Without A Tongue

And nice rating my boi

never actually listened to KWAS, I just assumed it was a cruder Horizons. I gave up after Deep Blue.

Hard To Speak Without A Tongue and Pandora are my top 2 PWD songs. The production on here is clean as fuck tho good lord.

Nice two picks boi, and I've always loved Adam's production, it's visceral but so clean

Art you gotta listen to KWAS, it's a whole different beast filled to the brim with riffage

I'll check it out. And to clarify, Deep Blue was a disappointing follow-up, but not a bad record really. That becomes more and more clear with every new Parkway release

I still think Atlas goes hard, it's them changing up their style to great effect unlike Ire

This album didnt hold up as well as KWAS for me. Still love it though

Also, wish their earlier stuff would get some love. The Don't Close Your Eyes re-issue is up with their best in my book

Yeah, Don't Close Your Eyes was awesome as well. DCYE through Deep Blue was their golden era.

Started listening to this again the other day, almost forgot how good it is.

Personal favourites have to be Idols & Anchors, Frostbite and Horizons. There isn't really a bad song on here.

So my parents were just in Australia and bought this for me along with their debut. My dad always picks up metal from around the world wherever he travels and happened to be recommended these guys seeing as they are from that country. Not bad but it pains me to listen to those breakdowns. The At the Gates moments are fun for about 2 songs and then boring. I have no idea who listens to this stuff anymore but kind of takes me back about 10-15 years.
