Haven't heard This is the Second Death in awhile but I remember it being quite amazing too.

I prefer the lengthy ambient parts on second death to anything on this. And weirdly the shit production on second death sort of complimented the insanity once i grew used to it

The production is super raw and awesome, less core oriented and more pummeling riffs. Plus epic post-y sections

For sure, I've looked to see if they had a bandcamp not long ago. I'm super glad they have the Corellia single on there, lost it when my old comp crashed. Song is super dope, grab that too @Mort

All three are amazing in their own right. I think my personal hierarchy is

3. Second Death

2. Betrayer

1. The Woman You Saw...

I feel like TWYS has so much more raw energy and it has a really dissonant, chaotic ambiance that really fits.

Though the one thing that's off is that their bandcamp page adds an additional track at the end that I don't think is on the original album.

the production on this album makes it hard for me to enjoy this more, which is weird because muddied production, especially on metalcore albums, has never really been an issue for me, album just sounds a bit flat

idk, feel like there's something wrong with me

album is still great though

I really like the production. Something about its quality, whether good or bad, adds a great atmosphere to the entire album. I can see it being pretty divisive, but to me it enhances the overall listening experience.

TWYS is my personal favorite. I think the ambient parts are done much better. Though like I said, their bandcamp adds an extra track at the end. I really like it, but I don't think it's on the actual album.

Listening to TWYS now it's really awesome. Realized I never really gave it a shot. Has pretty much everything I love about mid 2000's tech metal/core
