He sure as hell is, I would never have discovered the greatness of vinyl if it werent for my dad. King Crimson In The Court Of The Crimson King blaring out of the speakers on vinyl is the closest Ive ever come to experiencing something better than sex.

The Mahavishnu Orchestra is literally the perfect jam band.

There's John who is just making that guitar his submissive bitch with the excessive soloing and constant rhythm changes, then you have´╗┐ Jerry Goodman who mirrors whatever pattern John throws at him and augments the overall flow and texture of the solos, and of course there's Billy Cobham who is just bombastic and magnetic as can be with his percussive blasts.



This is a true Jazz jam- utterly spontaneous without missing a single step.
