Title track is godly

Indeed. Quite a shame that the rest of the album doesn't live up to the standards of the title track and A Fair Judgment
|
| |
t/t outro could keep going for like 10 mins

For Absent Friends is so good, and that brutal riff of Master's Apprentices following and breaking the silence is just awesome.

Only two really essential songs are Master's Apprentice and Deliverance imo

a fair judgement is the best though. i also dig the closer quite a bit
|

A Fair Judgement is the only essential song on here.
Even then 'essential' is a bit of a stretch.

I generally like every song here, but the album sort of gets weaker as it goes.

A Fair Judgement, Master's Apprentice and the outro of the t/t are the only parts of the album I enjoy. The rest is Opeth by the books.

OK, so we have a very good album from Opeth but just because some guy on Sputnik wrote down that he didn't like it everybody is now thrashing Deliverance....
Give me a break; this is a great solid album by Opeth and there is no way this is a 2.5...

Album is okay, but pretty uninspired by Opeth's standards. Deliverance is the best song on here.
