SSTB is where it's at.

Even though I disliked The Running Free I liked Gravemakers so I'm looking forward to this.

Even though I liked the first installment, I have no interest in listening to this for some reason.

I hope this is a great album. There have been some great albums, at least in the mainstream realm, released in the last few weeks, with Radiohead, JEW, and Thrice. This would really top it off.

The End Complete is so good.
Coheed with Double bass! and a power rangers-esque solo!

Well, temptation has overcome. I finally listened to this. IT's sweet.

The only song that I'm not getting anything out of is Justice in Murder. Sounds like a sub-par GAV1 pop-punk song. Bleh.

Otherwise, a great listen. The title track is friking massive. This Message Edited On 10.17.07

So, my friend keeps telling me to listen to Coheed. I have before, and I cannot stand Claudio's voice. I decided to download this last night and see if this album would change my mind on how I view Coheed.

It didn't. I still hate them. The second song had some cool music, but the vocals are absolutely godawful in my eyes. Once track 3 hit with its pseudo synth-pop stuff, I knew right then and there I would never like Coheed. It's mainly Claudio that holds the band down for me.

I thought the same thing about Claudio back when I saw the music video for Blood Red Summer a couple years back.

Now I love his voice. So give CoCa a few more tries, you might learn to like his voice, if not at least tolerate it to where you can enjoy the rest of the music.

This album is pretty awesome imo. Its better than GA1 and i think actually stands up to IKSSE3 and SSTB in quality. I actually really like all the songs on this album except for the running free. I think that is...just okay.

Mother supiorior and the end complete are my favorite songs on this so far and they are so friekin epic..but all the tracks minus the running free are awesome imo.

Radio bye bye is actually awesome. Its like a hybrid of Apollo 1 and The Suffering. The R&TD is the weakest by far. Excellent album.

it must just be my fanboyism but i don't hear his vocals as being as terribly high pitched as everyone else makes it out to be

Awww... ;_;

I was being a bit critical of Claudio, but i do dislike his voice. I was just trying to express it in a somewhat humorous way.

Some tracks are considerably weaker than others (i.e The Running Free).
