How can you like Edge of the World more than Jizzlobber let alone Just a Man.
I mean when that whole gospel choir comes in during the last few minutes it's like complete musical bliss. I think the only FNM track that rivals it is the title track on The Real Thing.

Angel Dust is more consistent as an album but this definitely has better individual tracks.

much, much more consistent though. comparing the two isn't much of a contest. but yes i agree that this has some stronger tracks

I mean Evidence, Digging the Grave, King for a Day and Just a Man rule but this has a lot of filler compared with Angel Dust and The Real Thing.

Thanks for such an insightful review. This is one of my first favourite albums as a teenager, and reading this review gave me some new perspectives, food for thought, and the over all feeling that I just had a discussion with a dear friend about over a pint and a fine meal. Cheers!

Album is excellent with a lot of diversity. However, it seems just a bit longer than it should really be, and that somehow takes away from my concentration a little. Nonetheless this proves that FNM are one of the most talented bands ever.
