aside from the fact fugazi has 2 vocalists, and neither of them sound anything like refused, not quite seeing the 'staying relevant' criticism either. They'd been doing their own thing for over a decade before this, i hardly see how this album is particularly different except for some more sophisticated guitar work. Plus, it's easily their most tuneful album, so i dunno where the 'atonal' criticism is coming from.
on the other hand, there's always the chance you're taking the piss and i'm wasting my time

Firs time hearing this.
I don't know about you guys but I much prefer the songs were Ian takes the lead vocals.
Guy's vocals are workable but I'm not a fan of them.
He's a beast on stage though.

ya, I'd say I prefer Ian too but Guy is awesome. Oh! is easily one of my favourites on this.

ian is slightly cooler i guess but idgaf who's singing honestly, guitar is the reason to listen to this band.

picciotto's easily one of my fave rock singers ever. his vocals are a huge part of why rend it, glueman, slow dance, turnover etc are so good. an acquired taste, sure
then when it's the two of them together the contrast adds a whole new dynamic

Can't decide if Ex-Spectator or Nightshop is the best song. Or The Kill.
