the production on this is just about perfect. if i was recording a band that sounded even remotely like this, this album and Sonic Youth's Murray Street would be the blueprints. sounds affordable but awesome, great clear mix, really nicely recorded real sounding drums, no excessive reverb, well mastered.

It's such a shame, the potential for Fugazi to be a global mega-brand who could charge whatever they liked for their output and could become a 'straight edge' themed franchise really is there to be exploited.
