Where the son of fire in his eastern cloud,

while the morning plumes her golden breast,

spurning the clouds written with curses

stamps the stony law to dust

loosing the eternal horses from the dens of night

crying: Empire is no more!

"A Memorable Fancy, Plates 17-20" has to be one of the coolest tracks ever produced.

A Song of Liberty Plates 25-27 is soooo good. One of my fave Ulver tracks actually. This album rules! Underrated for sure.

Album is so amazingly dense. Hard to get into I guess, but when you finally do it's definitely worth it. There's nothing really like it.

Straight up, my good netherlander. How well do you know the lyrics? The book is in my all-time top 3.

That Ulver made it into a concept album is proof that we live in a good universe.

Haha! I've got it at home, but never really read it/looked at the plates. That is forever on my to-do list, though!

Don't read it by the booklet, though. That format is slightly cramped.

That sick riff in A Song Of Liberty Plates 25-27, during the ''Look up! Look up! O, citizen of London, enlarge thy countenance'' part, is soooo delicious. And that solo. Superb track. Lovely record.

Very relevant these days. Blake was clearly a remainer.

Hmm yeah. Painfully relevant. Let's jam again!

Might also finally go the extra .5, it's totally perfect.
