"You wanted the best, you got the best, the hottest band in the world...KISS!!!"...it had been far to long since we heard these crys througout arena's every, but finally the hottest band in the world is back with there reunion album...well sort of!

the reason i say well sort of is because original kiss guitarist ace frehly dosent play any of the solos, or riffs on any track except for his song Into The Void, which is a very solid track from ace, probably his best since shock me back in 1977.

but other than that, this is a very strong album from the greatest band of all time, the album opens with the title track psycho circus which has *GASP* circus music in the intro, then go's balls out with the very heavy song!...this song is classic kiss, and definetly heavy kiss!

then they go into definetly the heaviest and darkest song on the entire album one of genes songs titled within, this track starts out with a backwards guitar track and then go's into the heaviest kiss riff that i have ever heard, then gene comes in with singing, and very clever lyrics, the solo in this song is definetly awesome, and there is a great bass line that runs throughout the song.

I pledge alliegance to the state of rock n roll is an amazing song from paul stanley, it is just all about rock n roll, if your a rocker you can definetly relate to this song!

Next is Aces track into the void, which as previously stated is probably the best ace song since shock me, the guitar solo in it is very cool, and sounds just like ace!

We are one is a slower song, and a very good one at that, this is just an amazing album, this song is definetly a standout track, and the lyrics are all about kiss fans and how close they are with eachother.

The next track on the album is you wanted the best, which is an awesome song, the vocals in the song are all traded off between the individual band member, and they are sang like they are mad at eachother, they are about the problems that have happened throughout the band, " Make up or break up, cause weve seen better days, dont have to drag you kicking or screaming off the stage"...it is a very personal song.

Raise your glasses is a song celebrating the breathtaking and legendary career of this amazing band, it is almost a ballad, but it is still a balls to the wall rocker, pauls voice is in top shape in this song, and the lyrics are very clever!

I finally found my way is peter criss' track on this album, definetly not as strong of a track as beth, or black diamond but it is an amazing song with very touching lyrics, the girls will love this one!

now what can we say about the next track Dreaming, it is by the far the best song on the whole album, amazing, pauls voice is the best it has ever been, this song is almost epic, the guitar solo is awesome, and the lyrics once again are very clever!!!...

and then the last song on the album is Journey of 1,000 years, which sums up the whole album by saying " did you fly without wings" and just an amazing track, there is a horn solo at the end which is the guitar solo from the opening track psycho circus, very very cool...

this album is amazing and i reccomend that you go out and buy it as soon as possible, it gave me goose bumps and it is just great!

The only good Kiss Album is "Destroyer" with "Detroit Rock City" on it.

KISS. I'm fine with the albums I have, I'd rather not ruin my relationship with them.

This album is absolute garbage, KISS was my favorite band growing up!....This is a sad attempt to capture their past sound with the original members all the songs rip off old songs and they don't do any justice, the best song is "Within" which is a track left of from "Carnival Of souls" with Bruce Kulick and Eric Singer, the song "Psycho Circus" is okay but that's about it..."You Wanted The Best You Got The Best" is god aweful and I can't believe anyone would like this song!!!!

Not bad it was kind of like the 90's version of destroyer. Some of it sounds 70's for example into the void and somewhat 80's with dreaming and a i pledge allegiance to the state of rock n roll. For longtime rockers for the last 30 something years i'll give them/record A for effort.
