It's clever humorous psychedelic alternative rock that draws from some other genres such as funk, indie, and country. There's not that much else to get, but thanks for retrying it haha.

Either that or a lot of it went over your head, no offense. I mean half of the comedy is upfront, and the other half isn't, you may have only noticed the upfront stuff.

Ween were fans of The Residents, but I fail to really see the huge similarity between the two bands at all. Other than them both being "weird" which is pretty broad.
