I find it confusing to read an argument between 5 people with the same avatar.

Good review, I will never listen to this willingly.

everytime they chanted I cringed, because they did it every song. They just got progressively worse after each release. Imo, Butterfly Kisses was excellent, The Curse was good, Deathgrip was okay, and this is just bad

i've just never liked atreyu and I doubt it will change with this album. I'm going to spend my money on something worthwhile instead.

Splendid review, I agree with it a bit as well. Some songs sound really 'karaoke'.

Well, SlitYerGuts is just some moron who's trying to act cool because he joined in on Iluvatar's side, and well, Iluvatar's a moron.

This album is no where near good, but it is uncharacteristic of Atreyu to make an album I can listen to. There are a few songs that are too poppy for me, but it could be worse.. I think.

^Hahaha

Tribe stop insisting this is a good album. It's bland and generic, that's why most people hate it. It's merely your opinion it's good. I somehow doubt Splat wrote this review with the intention of giving it a 1.5.

Actually, while reading the review I thought it felt a lot more like a 2.5 rating. So I wouldn't say that he didn't give it a chance.

If you'd been around for more than 4 months you'd know that SlitYerGuts is Chan. And the though of you calling me a moron is scary; if it were true, I would be a terrible person to deserve such a belittlement from one of such moronic stature as yourself!
And btw the single from this is still terrible. My friend plays the video all the time and its just ugh.

I guess he did realize that screaming didn't work, but his singing doesn't sound much better. The single is bad, and some of the songs seem to play the same styled riffs over and over again. It's not really good. I'd say 2 - 2.5

This was an extremely well written review. I think your analogy of metal press (first paragraph) was brilliant and nailed it on the head. This album felt forced and as predictable as a Dane Cook joke.

Honor is absolutely horrible.

And I gave the album a 3.

I don't think its great.
