I remember listening to one of this band's songs and then turning it off the second the screaming started.

Honestly this is the only release i enjoy by this band and it even took a while to grow on me. I think its severely underrated though.

Willing to bet most of the people who 1'd this album never gave it a real chance. I'd definitely understand if anyone told me this isn't their cup of tea, fair enough, but calling it trash because you don't like the vocalist's style is just ignorant.
You can hate Danny's voice all you like, but the band deserves credit for the effort they put into this album. It's very unique, full of atmosphere and emotion, and a huge evolution from In Vogue. The songs carry a consistent vibe, but maintain their own identity and stand out in their own way. The musicianship isn't going to win any awards, but it suits the concept incredibly well. Lyrically, some songs are better than others, which is to be expected with any metalcore release, but there is a lot of great imagery going on. The whole album paints a picture. The picture may not suit your tastes, but that doesn't make it bad.
