Great Album!!! In Flames definitely is one of the front runners in todays metal industry..
I have to say though that the power of this album comes from the first half of the album (Moonshield, Artifacts and Lord Hypnos are the tracks that I have listened to most often among all others)..
Add to that the addition of Black Ash inheritance, having that sweet acoustic medley...
Without a shadow of a doubt, this album is an 'In Flames' album..

Does Anders have a scream kind of voice, or one of those death metal growl/grunt things ??
|
| |
He has one of those screams where he shreds his throat, but you can still understand most of what he says. Like Mikael from Dark Tranquility.

| |
The very first In Flames CD I purchased, it's one of the most addictive listens and shows Anders raw vocals at their best, another timeless album

uummm, i don't think Resin is in the acoustic medley. I'm pretty sure it goes from Artifacts to Dead Eternity and ends with Jotun. nice try though

it's easily one of the best, if not the best, melodic death metal album(s). In Flames' best (Whoracle is almost as good, though).

I rate Jester Race above Whoracle, Colony, and Clayman because this release showed the most promise. But I'd say in terms of songs Whoracle and Colony were the best. Whoracle is more thrashy and Colony is more intense. Clayman is divisive to most people, but I find it to have no real bad tracks and a couple of standouts. SAAATOOLITES UND AAASTROONAAUUTSSS!
