Ice Monster and Knights are such ace tracks...but for the first time in any MTB album I've listened to things start to drag. Fantastic effort, but not quite up to expectations for me.

Good review though.

Wow, I've only listened to 'Minus The Bear' a few times, but this album seems pretty sweet. I'll have to check it out.

Such great tracks, definitely my favorite MTB album. Buying Luck and Knights are my two favorite songs from them of all time.

And as you can tell i really dig the album cover.

Look up the album for "islands". Their background is a romantic period painting. should've been used on planet of ice. and versions.

Has anyone heard the bonus disc from this?

I can't believe electric rainbow didn't make the album, I remember hearing a bootleg of it thinking it was sick.

And indeed it is sick and should of made the album but the other track Patiently Waiting sucks balls.

Cat Calls and Ill Means isn't that great either but it's listenable. This Message Edited On 01.16.08

Electric Rainbow and Patiently Waiting should have both been put on this album.

Patiently Waiting def should not have made the album.
Yo Mediocre, give these guys alot of your attention, it can be relaxing music but once Dave gets started you can't stop his riffage.
Now for the MTB vets, lets start the album (both LP and EP)ratings.
POT>HRP>Meno>Beer Commercials>Gigantic
I really wasn't expecting POT to be my fav MTB album, due to Bayles leaving, but they def surprised.
But realistically I think all MTB albums are 4+.

My copy didn't come with a bonus disc, it was the worst day of my life.
MrKite the only part I like from that song is when he's singing "move baby move".
Oh and the POS remix of Knights isn't bad at all and the demo is only good is you're a big MTB fan.
