Actually, I think so. Madlib's beats remind me of the awesome dirty, chopped up shit on donuts. the difference is that where i'd get tired of listening to just beats on donuts, here, doom is fucking killing it on every track

this is so easy to listen to as a whole. flows really well--whereas, admittedly, donuts was a bunch of beats stacked on top of each other and doesn't really "flow". i mean, it's still excellent. but hey. but yeah this is one of my favorite rap albums, and even the tracks i don't -love- (hardcore hustle, shadows of tomorrow) are easily swallowable because they're placed in between a lot of shit i love.
