I'd agree "There is a Light" is probably better than "The Killing Moon", but what does TQID do that this didn't already do? I held the Smiths in high regard because they made post-punk lush and beautiful, but it seems Echo did it first and more thoroughly. Damn I'm excited with this.

I'll give the Smiths the lyrics yeah. Guitar isn't that interesting though, in fact I feel like the Smiths recycle the same chords too often. Echo's first 2 albums are more like Joy Division or U2 yeah but I totally start hearing the Smiths on this.
