I seriously doubt he'll get out. I at least hope not, he's a complete lunatic with totally lame views that shift on the hour. I'd love to hear him record black metal again, which is the plan, but he's such a worthless waste of a human.

He's not a nazi, just a really uninformed nationalist. He says his plan was to possibly continue recording black metal, but the last time he got out they found him with a shitload of weapons so who knows.

The belief in a pure race is there, it's just he wouldn't take such drastic measures to eliminate the population, he's a coward in a way. Varg is uninformed, yeah, it's like he got that from a pamphlet and started believing it, but I hope he starts making black metal again. This Message Edited On 08.08.07

One doesn't have to be uninformed to believe stupid things. I've read some of Varg's writings, and it's actually frightening how intelligent he is. The thing is, smart people are incredibly good at justifying decisions they came to for dumb reasons.

The man is clearly psychotic and a failure as a human being. But as they said in Catch 22, "The insane don't believe they're going insane. They think they're becoming saner."

He is intelligent, but his beliefs are almost inhuman.

Hence my use of the adjective lunatic :p.

I wouldn't even really say Varg is a lunatic. He just has very messed up beliefs and has very strong foundations in those beliefs. He's just confused and thinks everyone else is wrong.



Also, I thought it was definite that would be getting out next year. At least that's the way it sounded on his site. And I don't remember him saying that he was going to record black metal. I do remember him saying not to expect anything from him when he gets out. He said that if you wanted to hear anything from him you would have to search for it or something.
