I have zero complaints with this album, its sound direction is simply mind blowing in every way possible. Its like they discovered some scientific process of creating the perfect pop rock album. I love it so much. I think it may possibly be my favorite album ever.

Yeah. The aftermath of his suicide is pretty much the Resolve album by LagWagon.

Resolve and 12 Small Steps are both Derrick centric records, both are very touching and some of my favorites.

He was their original drummer and on their first three albums ('Trashed' being the best). LagWagon also has the same singer as this band. Eventually they reconnected and started Bad Astronaut.

Definitely. The best album that has this drummer is 'Trashed', but 'Blaze' and 'Hang' are good albums too. Of course, the tribute album is 'Resolve', but it's a little all over the place.
