Yeah dude, it rules. I loved it in its heyday... Too bad their new album sucks so hard.

Actually did not even listen to their new stuff, when this came out it was amazing. Damn didn't know that their new stuff sucks, I will probably still listen to it though.

Eh, well, Spotlight (off of their new album) is kinda cool sounding. However, I feel that they sold out. When their songs appear in the Twilight soundtrack, it kinda makes me lose favor in the band.

Their new stuff is just really poppy and kind of generic, or so I think so.

"When their songs appear in the Twilight soundtrack, it kinda makes me lose favor in the band."

i may have to check my sources, but if i recall correctly, they refused offers to do more with Twilight people and stuff because they didn't want to be known as the "twilight band." they've had songs on several other soundtracks anyway.. and the new stuff doesn't suck, it's just not quite as good as the old. Clipping is amazing though

yep it's much more "unique" (though i know a lot of people will disagree) than the other albums. Odd Soul is also pretty good but a bit too indie rock-y for my tastes

Containing 2 members of the defunct Earthsuit, Louisianan rockers Mutemath impress on their self-titled debut LP. Performing a dynamic & unique fusion of rock, jazz & even electronica, the complex textures & progressive arrangements are not only quite catchy & accessible, but also custom made for a live setting. Darren King's fantastic drumming stands out, while the Sting-like vocals & often thought-provoking lyrics of Paul Meany also captivate. At 58 minutes in length, many latter half tracks drag on way past expiry, but it is Mutemath's ambition which should make for an exciting career with unlimited potential. Recommended Tracks: Typical, Chaos, Noticed & Without It.

Can't believe I didn't fully checked these guys out when I saw the video for Typical back when it was a single. This is awesome.
