This is a great album. And for those who didn't know Sergio Vega, the bass player for this album is playing with the Deftones now. You should really check it out.

More people need to hear this. Especially post-hardcore and Fugazi fans.

i feel sad
|
| |
strange, i've always downloaded and deleted manic compression because i mainly didn't like the too bleak sound..but i keep doing it, thought there's something about this band that i like..
well, actually that should came from this album. i 4.5 this, did it go up?

my copy of this cuts the tracks off like 3 seconds early every time
|
| |
i love in head to the wall when that one chord comes in

Yes, this album is perfect. It is the finest late night driving cranked up metal fest ever and i suggest it is tried that way.
This is just awesome. It's not an easy sound to describe but it is definitely New York and Hardcore influenced.
The production sounds like a huge space and the Rickenbacker bass sounds perfect and amazing. There aren't enough superlatives to describe this work of art. The follow up really doesn't come close, nor does any other syuff from Walter Schreifels, although Rival Schools is really good.

Almost 20 years after I heard them for the first time, this and Meantime are still my two favorite albums ever.
