I have heard many people say they hated their first record but I loved that record, with the exception of some songs. I was really excited for it but now I have heard clips of this new cd and, I am not sure if I will even buy it.
But anyways if you want to hear a good record that Slash has played on besides GN'R check out Slash's Snakepit, I persoanally like Aint Life Grand. It is a very good cd. Probably, the best rock cd I have anymore. This Message Edited On 07.03.07

The review was half-decent, not too in depth. Ive been really looking forward to this, ill be sure to buy it. I thought Contraband was pretty rockin, its usually on my frequent rotation of albums.

I thinks it's a good album but you just have to let it settle in . 'I can't get it out of my head' I think is a really good song from this album also 'the last fight'.

You kind off contradict yourself in your opening paragraph.
I dont mind this album, it was better than I expected.

While it does not come up to their previous release, this cd is very solid and enjoyable.

So much better than Contraband. There are a few shaky songs but overall there Libertad is a much more cohesive album than Contraband.

Good review by the way. And while I don't think Contraband was a big letdown I do agree with you that Libertad is a much better album.

this album was just like i expected;not better or worse than Contraband. i have now come to the conclusion, that 'She Builds Quick Machines' is an awesome track. very STP in the chorus. one of the best on the album. and 'Don't Drop That Dime' kicks @ss; in a subtle way of course.
btw this review is on the Wikipedia page of this album instead of the STAFF-review (if you haven't noticed). you should be proud, heheThis Message Edited On 07.10.07

god i hate those users editing in Wiki all the time. they removed your review and added the STAFF review, although both were on the review bar at one time; what a bunch of amateurs. sorry for getting you excited for nothing
ps. still waiting for those faggots from PitchFork with their crap review...This Message Edited On 07.13.07

It was just there though!

That sucks. Probably either some jealous user or someone who meant to have placed the Staff review.
Congrats on the 15 sec. of fame though?

I changed it. We were threatened with having all Sputnik reviews removed if we didn't limit it to staff.
