:thumb: Steal This Album rocks! favourite song is Streamlines, that solo seriously kicks *** even though it sounds kinda of easy for a guy to play..(its probably my favourite solo actually :p )
Can't wait for next album
No, Daron Malakian plays the acoustic guitar on that song.
No, you're thinking of Daron. Serj Tankian is the singer. Daron plays guitar and does background vocals.
no, Serj Tankian plays the acoustic guitar on that song :thumb:
a really good album!! funny, and amazing. I love all the songs from the album, espcially I-E-A-I-A-I-O, Innervision, **** the system. :thumb:
Toxicity is my all time fav...i would review it but i'll leave it to YDload :thumb:
Thanks! Man, I really have to go through with this now, don't I?
I only like their first album.
no, Serj Tankian plays the acoustic guitar on that song :thumb:
No he doesn't, Daron said that he played it in an interview.
This cd is so absalutly amazing. In the genre of Nu-Metal or Metal or whatever genre you want to put them in, the cd is only rivaled by Spiders, by SOAD. Spiders and Steal This Album are both better than toxicity...woops....going on a tangent...you know what....let me just end this here....9/10
With Rage Against the Machine disbanded, System of a Down ascend to the political aggro-rock throne
I personally can't stand the lead singer. The band it's self is alright. But the singer is just too odd and annoyinng. Toxicity is an alright album, but I just can't get into SoaD much.
Digging: The Black Angels - Directions to See a Ghost
the album kinda sucks
but then again...its b sides
This album was alright. I found the song f*ck the system a little immature. My favorites had to be Highway Song, Thetawaves, Streamline, Mr. Jack, Boom, A.D.D. Can't...wait...for...new...album
streamline is so good... fun to play on guitar
Every song on this album is great. And JoJo T. is right, SOAD doesn't really consider this an actual album. It's mainly along the lines of a b-side compilation, and they're working on their third official album now. Nevertheless it's a great CD to listen to, and they're one of my favourite bands.
Album Rating: 2.5
I love this CD, Chic'N'Su is probably my fav, and Pictures
steal this album is the worst system of a down album so far, and i love every single song on the album.. im not disapointed at all!
they were never going to top the self titled album and toxicity because they are just legandary..
im sorry but system of a down are THE BEST band out there and will always be the BEST BAND out there forever :D
its nice to see someone who thinks like me ;)
Album Rating: 3.0
to the people debating who plays the acoustic - who cares, the song has an acoustic guitar, thats all that needs to be said... freakin' people and their annoying obsession with the most insignificant details...
anyways, RATM did leave a channel open that SOAD came through... if rage was still tellings us how much politics sucked, i don't think we would have needed SOAD to remind us.
the cd is fun... fast paced... and interesting... i'm amazed by the singer's ability to rip up those tongue twisters in A-E-I-O-U-E-I-E-I-O and on that farm... uh, sorry bout that, i got lost... yeah, he definetly has some speed to him.
SOAD is one of the few good bands to come out of the last 5ish years... and they do something different, so props to them...
steal this album is such a good title! I love the cover too.
the cd title turned out to be some bad advice...dam those anti-theft devices...and remember, a girl who admits she has herpies is not a good score...believe me :thumb:
If i wasnt for Roullete I would have never hooked up withmy girl
i'm thinking of buying Toxcity..
i only knew about system when steal this album came out..
I-E-A-I-A-I-O- Does that mean anything special? Do you know? Well anyway, I like the song and the album.

It is a great CD, I used to listen to it all the time, but I over listened to it. Still good to listen to every so often though. :thumb:
