I saw them in like October and they only played Truth Of A Liar, Composure, and Back Burner from this album yet like 7 from Leveler. I was kinda disappointed but hey they put on a hell of a show regardless.

Metalcore in general sucks really badly though that's the problem.

I don't like metalcore, MichaelSnoxall, so don't assume shit.

I figured as much. It's easy to assume you don't know much about metalcore when you say this is a masterpiece for the genre.

Maybe you don't like metalcore because you don't know much about it, eh?

It doesn't hold at all. This is very average for metalcore. And it's ABR's worst album. 2.5/5

"Maybe you don't like metalcore because you don't know much about it, eh? "
Or maybe you're just being a little stuck up assuming other people haven't heard much of it just because they don't like it. Like I could say you probably don't know much about black metal.

I know a little bit about it, but I don't make statements so widely generalising a genre when I'm not really as familiar with it as I could be.

Let me just run off some names here, then you tell me if you know them.

If you do, I'll apologise and let you live in the weird world where ABR is above the bands I list.

Bands:

Integrity
Earth Crisis
Starkweather
Converge
Ringworm
Rorschach
7 Angels 7 Plagues
Compromise
Poison the Well
Botch
Shai Hulud
Training For Utopia
Swarm of the Lotus
Zao
Spitfire
Strongarm
Prayer for Cleansing
Disembodied

7 angels 7 plagues formed misery signals
Training For Utopia are fantastic
Zao i hate
Rorschach were better during their pure hardcore days (early)
Converge are always good, I have two of their albums

Yes, just different waves of the genre. That's like saying, "Can you really say that Bathory and Burzum are the same genre?"
