Untrue is better, but not by much.

Goddamn Southern Comforts is insane.

They're equally good.

Just totally different from each other.

I wouldn't go far as to say that they are totally different. Untrue bought in the house and ambient influences, and Bevan had obviously matured as a producer through experience, but the blueprint stayed the same

Well, maybe not musically.

Atmospherically, they're anti-poles however...

Burial is really dark, whereas I find Untrue more upbeat.

Untrue is plenty melancholic, for me anyway

But melancholy in music can be upbeat too in a way... (at least for me it is)

I'm probably the only one on this but does anyone agree with me that this is slightly better than Untrue?

I agree. It actually isn't an unpopular opinion among those who 5'd this album too.

Nice to find someone who agrees with me. I wish more people would listen to this instead of the other so called filthy dubstep.

Definitely better for single songs. Untrue always gets a full listen when I put it on.

Goth-Trad's "Flags" uses pretty much the same 2-note melody that "Wounder" uses.

This is really great but it's substantially worse than anything he's done from Untrue on. He's on a completely different level once he released that album. I really love a few tracks on here and it's a good listen as a whole, but it's completely missing that deep emotional connection that his later stuff is so incredible at creating.
