Saw these guys supporting Jonny Truant at my local venue just after they released this album. Show was amazing and they were incredibly tight. In The Desert and Darkest Tomb rule.

Musically JT were awesome but their vocalist was a tool when I saw them. He was on one about true metal and how you shouldn't have nice hair and stuff for the whole show. I was 16 at the time and had a lip piercing and black hair as was the style around then but he soon changed his tune when I asked him to sign my copy of Library after the show when he realised that me and my mates were actually fans not just there to be 'cool' or whatever. It was especially hypocritical given that we all looked like we should've been in Architects at the time!

Tom Searle, the original guitarist. His brother Dan is the drummer.

I've seen the band four or five times. Luckily I saw them just after Sam joined so had the chance to witness them play tracks from this.

I still think this and Ruin are their best records. The last two albums have been good but nowhere near as varied and inspired as the first two.

Try ruin when you're working out or something. It grows hard.
