Yeah, it's not as good as Exile, but it's still great. Exile is probably their best album, along with Twisted By Design for my money.

I have yet to hear TBD. I only have American Paradox, Exile, and this. All excellent albums, which is saying something, since I'm not much of a punk fan outside of this band and AFI.

Definitely get Twisted, seriously it is brilliant. It's real Pop-Punk, a bit different from their later work, but one of the best poppy Punk albums ever. This Message Edited On 06.12.07

twisted by design's their best IMO, but for the benefit of those who said they don't know which to start with, go for the live album ("Live in a Dive"), and then get whichever album(s) that your favourites off the live on originally appeared on.



and yeah, this album is amazing, and this review is pretty spot on, although saying that chris was one of the weaker links is a bit harsh. there's some quite subtle, but absolutely killer bass fills in most of the songs, and you've gotta remember that chris also wrote a crapload of guitar parts for this. review gets my vote anyway...

Oh, I'm not saying that Chris didn't write some awesome guitar stuff, but I reviewed this according to who performed it on the record, which is the solid line up. I think Chris is a good bassist, but he's just way over shadowed by everyone else in the band on this record. He doesn't really have a single moment that is just like mindblowing like on the last few records.
