Wow this music is absolutely epic and transcendant. From the first listen this is easily a 5, one of the best albums I've ever heard. However I need to see how this withstands the test of time so for now it's a 4.5.

So, I was checking the mail today, and this one huge, horribly packed envelope was stuck in the mailbox, so as I was pulling it out, I was getting all excited that it was this, but, no, it was merely some booklet from a college.

when i got mine, it was in a package like envelope that just said the pax cecilia on it. inside was the cd, a personal thank you, and a mini poster. considering they are releasing this for free, they really did go above and beyond.

i got mine in 5 days!! fucking awesome. the packaging is beautiful. these guys really did outdo themselves. i was more excited about this than my sat scores that came the same day haha.

no i meant 1510 out of 1600. i didnt count it out of 2400 because i didn't assume people cared about writing. I got a 2260 overall.

antihippy if you look at their reasoning behind sending out free cds, they don't mind shipping throughout the world. they just want people to get the whole experience of the packaging and artwork and everything all together. so i wouldn't hesitate to do it regardless.

I got this on Saturday. Firstly, I have to say that the band is uber awesome for having such brutally awesome packaging, a poster, and a thank you letter all for a free album.



Secondly, this shit is fucking awesome. Depending on how the new Neurosis ages (and how the rest of the year shapes up release-wise), this may be a contender for album of the year. I was expecting a little bit more emo, but I do enjoy how its fairly evenly split between the heavy and soft.

So I just got this in the mail with a lovely personalized note that mentions all of you all (as in thanks for the comments and support) and a copy of this album and Nouveau. All I have to say is that I must reiterate comments made by other people who have received hard copies: I cannot believe they give this amazing package away for free. They must have some significant spare cash or just a whole lot of passion.
