I honestly enjoyed this one. their first album was extremely boring in my opinion. every song had too much of the same feeling to it..
this one played with some different styles(barely different.) and played into the whole EMO thing so much, but still came off as more fun to listen to.
This one seems more like its trying to show views, stereotypes of the EMO generation.

and btw YES they are absolutely emo. there are 2 brands of emo:
"rites of spring=emo
Embrace=emo
Get up kids= emo
The used= not emo", but that only goes for one type. Emo bands are also in the catagory of Emotional(often depressing) lyrics, alt rock instrumentals, and emotional vocals sometimes accompanied by screams ( not growls.)
This is why stuff like Hawthorn Heights, Tickle Me Pink, The Used, ect. are considered emo. besides, i knew the guys a little (im from utah.) and they described themselves as emo back in the day.
