Said roar, roar the thunder and the roar

Son of a bitch is never comin' back here no more

Moon in the window; a bird on the pole

Can always find a millionaire to shovel all the coal

Inside a broken clock

Splashing the wine

With all the Rain Dogs

Taxi, we'd rather walk.

Huddle in a doorway

With the Rain Dogs

i'm much more of a fan of the mad carnival barker/apocalyptic doom prophet side of waits than his more straightforwardly romantic early work, but blue valentine is definitely the strongest of that period along with small change
