Basement is a definitely a 5, although s/t is for me also lol. New moon is great though, at first i thought it was kinda average by Elliott standards but it really has some classic stuff.

I prefer the more bare-bones side of his music so that's probably why I love this so much.

Word, I can respect that because that is honestly how I felt at first. When I heard XO I was kinda disappointed at the shift in sound but i grew to enjoy it more. I think with Figure 8 and Basement though he fully takes advantage of what is made available to him and pushes his sound to new places while still retaining his trademark style. Not to mention he still showcases some of that bare-bones side too. I find those two albums equally as good as anything else in his discog.

His self-titled and Either/Or are almost as good as Figure 8

I never wanted to listen to this because it would have meant that there was no more new Elliott for my to discover - but, after 3 years, this is finally on rotation.
He really is the best artist ever. Half Right is a gorgeous song to end a career on.
