They have a freakin incredible vocalist. Anyway I love this CD, and generally this isn't my type of music I listen to, but this is just so damn well done. This Message Edited On 06.02.07

From the songs Ive heard, its not really straight metal, its really influenced by punk, hardcore and pop-punk, so if he listens to metal he may not be used to just this style.

But its stipped down classification is metal. All I meant is even if you only listen to metal (me), try and be open minded as much as possible inside the genre.

This is just metal, you guys are douchebags for over analyzing it. There's huge post-hardcore influences, major punk influences, but it's metal. Stop nitpicking.

No I understand it's very metal, but if you showed this to me a year ago, I would of hated it in regard to the hardcore vocals. I'm against over analyzing too so don't judge me so fast Cocaine. Anyway hottiebass I've been getting into more core stuff lately, Converge, Becoming the Archetype, The Fall of Troy. On a side note I listen to classical and other genres so I do keep an open mind. Like I said the reason I wouldn't have liked this in the past is the vocals but I've grown to love them.

Well if you want to get technical his vocals are very post hardcore/pop punk. Either way it was stuff I wasn't open minded to in the past. But as I said his SINGING is amazing. Lol I'm really not an elitist, I jus wanted to show I'm not somone who only listens to metal.
